About Us
THE ROCKY ISLAND COMPANY
We are a small family owned company that specializes in boat tours in Conception Bay, Newfoundland. Our tours are unique in that we can customize them based on your needs! Whether it be cod fishing, whale watching, iceberg watching, visiting coast towns in Conception Bay or just cruising the shores, we let you decide! Our tours are private and we do not combine groups.
Our Boat
Our boat is a 23ft Parker Sport Cabin powered by a 200hp Yamaha Outboard. The boat has an enclosed cabin to accommodate our guests comfortably in all types of weather.
Our location
Located in Holyrood Newfoundland, we are an approximate 35min drive from St. John's. We recognize that there is a rental car shortage for 2022 due to the Come Home Year celebrations. We do offer transportation from St. John's to Holyrood and return for up to 4 guests. The cost of this service is $50.
season
We operate between June - September. Recreational cod fishing is only available Saturday, Sunday and Mondays each week per season restrictions.
TOUR Rates
Our minimum tour is 3 hours to a maximum of 8 hours. The cost is $150/hr for up to 4 people. Each additional person is $30/hr. We can accommodate up to 6 guests.
